Fees and Information Changes
The program fees and information are correct at the time of publication but are subject to change due to currency fluctuations and other unforeseen circumstances. In addition, group airfare is only confirmed when the passenger name list is submitted to the airline, so your early commitment is necessary to lock the rate.
Accommodation Costs
Cost is per person based on double occupancy. Triple occupancy rate is the same as double occupancy. Single occupancy requires a single-room supplement fee of USD 1,500.
Payment Methods
The quoted price is offered at a cash discount rate. We accept payments through Zelle or bank transfer. Please remit to the account of KICC. If paying via bank transfer, the full amount must be remitted without deductions.
Travel Insurance
KICC recommends participants purchase additional, more comprehensive travel accidents or health insurance at their own expense. This insurance should cover unforeseen circumstances not included in the limited insurance provided with the program, such as:
- Trip cancellation
- Extensive medical emergencies
- Lost luggage
- Incidents during independent travel
Participants are responsible for understanding the coverage and terms of any such policy.
Forfeiture of Tour Package Portions
If any traveler forgoes any portion of the tour package, that portion is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Deposit
After completing the registration form, each participant must pay a total of USD 1,600 (including a USD 500 deposit and USD 1,100 for airfare) in full by October 30, 2025 to confirm participation. Participants are responsible for ensuring that the full amount is received, including any applicable bank fees.
Required with deposit:
- Clear passport copy for each participant
- Completed registration form
If your passport is under renewal or application, provide your full legal name (exact as on passport) and deposit to secure your space.
Deposit deadline: October 30, 2025. Late payment may result in increased airfare at participant's expense.
Participants & Prices
Upon receipt of your reservation form and deposit, within 72 hours, you can expect to receive an electronic receipt in your email inbox as confirmation of your payment and please allow 2 weeks to receive a confirmation including the flight itinerary of the international portion of your trip. Please keep in mind that the group size needs to be as stated based on the following to qualify for the prices quoted:

Payment Schedule
1. Deposit (First Payment): An initial deposit of USD 1600 is due on or before October 30, 2025 to secure a reservation.
2. Second Payment: A payment of USD 1,000 is due on or before November 30, 2025.
3. Final Balance (Third Payment): The remaining balance of USD 1,700 is due on or before January 31, 2026. (Note: If the number of participants exceeds 21, the remaining balance required will be USD 1,600.)
4. Late Enrollment: For enrollments made after January 31, 2026, the full program fee shall be payable in full at the time of enrollment.
5. Airfare and Airline Policies: Airfare is included in the program fee. All airline-related cancellation fees and conditions are governed by the respective airline's policies and shall be the responsibility of the participant. For enrollments made after October 30, 2025, airfare prices are subject to change. Any increase in airfare shall be borne by the participant.
Final Payment
Final payment is due January 31, 2026.
- Late payment (1–10 days overdue): USD 50 late fee per invoice
- Non-payment by due date: Cancellation with loss of deposit
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing, submitted via:
- Email: jekicc2020@gmail.com (subject line: "Cancellation") — Include participant name(s), school, trip departure date, and brief explanation.
- Postal Mail: Contact for mailing address.
Cancellation Penalties (per person)

If your cancellation causes your roommate to pay a single supplement, the additional cost will be deducted from your refund (or added to your balance if unpaid).
Change of Departure Date or Tour
Once your deposit has been processed, any of the following changes will incur the same penalties as cancellation:
- Change to a different departure date
- Change to a different tour route
- Postponement/rescheduling of trip
- Substitutions: Not allowed — A new participant cannot replace a canceled traveler without cancellation penalties.
Uneven Number of Male/Female Participants
If the number of males or females results in an unavoidable single room, a single supplement will be charged. Alternatives:
- Triple room at double occupancy rate
- One single room shared on a rotating basis among group members
Travel Documents
All travelers must have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the trip's end date. U.S. citizens may enter Taiwan visa-free.
Room Type
Non-smoking double occupancy rooms (two twin beds) will be provided for the entire trip. Single rooms available upon request (additional fee applies).
Seating Assignments
Airline seating assignments are made at check-in only (per airline policy). Participants with medical conditions may contact the airline directly.
